Alumni association steering committee in-charge , ME 2009

It's always overwhelming for me to get associated with my alma mater & share the right piece of work. As alumni association steering committee incharge, I would like to showcase my gratitude to all alumni of our prestigious institution St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology Also I will take this opportunity to speak to you all and urge to come together and be a part of the making of the ALUMNI ASSOCIATION- REFLECTION more stronger. ' Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' a prime quotes from our Indian Upanishad, make me feel this should be a righteous thing to start thinking about now. We all are grateful to our alma mater in our own manner, showing a better gratitude today might be impactful. We are in a journey where this culture will be continued ahead as well. Due to COIVD these past couple of years were being tough it all have make, mold and defined us stronger in many terms. We know we might have lost someone in our close vicinity, but these tough time make us to unity in a stronger bond. Please be a part of this journey with us.!! We would like to hear from you all alumni, to make this consortium better and interactive. We request you to be part of our virtual, actual event in given calendar years as well. I once again thank my entire team of Reflections & Faculty to make this impact with our following thought-efforts-activities. We wish you all a happy and a safe time ahead. Stay connected!!!!

ATHARVA ATRE

PG Diploma in Travels and Tourism Course at International Air Transport Association (IATA) , MumbaiOperator at Veena World, Mumbai , IT 2019

It is believed that a person’s life is modeled at the early 20’s and it is very important to be at the right place. In that case I am glad that I chose SVPCET after my diploma. Academic excellence along with overall growth of the person is what institute aims at. As a student I was shy however I really started enjoying every department activity right from co-curricular activities, Industrial Visit, Seminars, workshops to classes. The last two years in college were too good. These activities tremendously improved my leadership and interpersonal skills. After engineering I switched my field of studies from engineering to management. Currently with IATA certification. By doing this I’ll get to know information about various countries as well as India too. Opportunity after doing this course is you can go to Cruise sector , Airline, Tour manager , there are various jobs of sales and well as you can start your travel company.About the department- We get very much pampering by faculties in college but when you enter in any industry no one is there for you to say what is right and what is wrong. I would attribute much of my success in Masters to the solid foundation I received from my undergraduate program. Special Thanks to faculty and friends at Pallotti who were a part of my journey and played a silent role in shaping my future. So at last I will like to say that do whatever makes you happy. Don’t compromise yours dreams because of parents and people around you.‘’ choose a job you love and you never have to work a day in life .
